Berbicara mengenai masalah anak tidak akan ada habis nya, terkadang membuat orang tua menjdi bingung dan panik. Langkah paling bijak adalah memahami setiap psikologi yang ditunjukkan pada anak.
Memahami psikologi perkembangan anak usia dini adalah sebuah keharusan baik bagi para orang tua maupun guru-guru, masa anak usia dini merupakan masa penting dalam perkembangan anak itu sendiri. Pada masa emas tersebut anak mulai sensitif terhadap berbagai rangsangan, setiap anak secara individual akan mempunyai tingkat perkembangan kepekaan yang berbeda-beda seiring perkembangan dan pertumbuhan masing-masing anak.

Mengenal psikologi perkembangan anak usia dini

Perkembangan anak dan pertumbuhannya mempunyai keterkaitan karena perkembangan fisik dan motorik berhubungan dengan perkembangan psikisnya, karena itu psikologi perkembangan tersebut tidak dapat dipisahkan dengan perkembangan dan pertumbuhan anak tersebut secara menyeluruh.

Pada masa emas tersebut seorang anak akan mengalami pertumbuhan dan perkembangan pada tingkat yang drastis yang mencakup perkembangan berfikir, perkembangan motorik, perkembangan emosi, perkembangan sosial dan tentu saja perkembangan fisiknya. Masa ini terjadi pada usia 0 sampai 8 tahun dan pada periode berikutnya tidak akan terjadi lagi lonjakan perkembangan tersebut. Oleh karena itu setiap orang tua harus memberikan perhatian khusus pada usia penting dalam perkembangan seorang anak karena nantinya akan memberikan pengaruh pada perkembangan dan kehidupan anak di masa berikutnya.

Pemahaman akan hal tersebut akan sangat membantu orang tua dalam mendukung pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak secara keseluruhan, setiap anak pada usia dini akan mengalami perkembangan pada beberapa aspek penting dalam kehidupannya. Diantaranya sebagai berikut :

Perkembangan kognitif
Perkembangan kemampuan kognitif anak terjadi dalam empat tahap yaitu tahap sensor motor yang terjadi saat usia anak 0-2 tahun, pada tahap ini seorang anak mulai memiliki kemampuan gerakan refleks. Tahap kedua adalah pra-operasional yang terjadi pada usia 2-7 tahun. Pada tahap pra-operasional ini anak akan mulai dapat menerima rangsangan namun sifatnya masih terbatas. Selanjutnya tahap konkret operasional yang terjadi pada usia 7-11 tahun dimana seorang anak sudah mulai dapat berfikir secara rasional dan mampu menjalankan operasional yang nyata. Tahap terakhir pada perkembangan kognitif adalah formal operasional dimana anak beranjak remaja. Pada tahap ini anak mampu berfikir dengan menggunakan hipotesa untuk memecahkan masalah.

Perkembangan fisik
Perkembangan fisik anak pada usia dini berkaitan dengan perkembangan motoriknya yang dibagi dalam perkembangan motorik halus dan motorik kasar.

Perkembangan bahasa
Ada tiga periode yang terjadi dalam perkembangan kemampuan bahasa seorang anak yaitu periode pre-lingual yang terjadi pada usia 0-1 tahun dimana anak sudah mulai mengoceh, periode lingual pada usia 1-2,5 tahun dimana anak sudah mampu membuat kalimat dan periode diferensiasi yang terjadi pada usia anak 2,5-5 tahun dimana seorang anal mempunyai kemapuan bahasa yang baik dan benar.

Perkembangan sosio-emosional
Perkembangan kemampuan sosio-emosional anak sangat penting dalam psikologi perkembangan anak usia dini karena pada perkembangan ini akan terbentuk rasa percaya diri dan perkembangan kemandirian dalam dirinya.

Melanjutkan pemantapan pelayanan yang tengah gencar dilaksanakan di Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (FKIP), Unit Database dan Publikasi Ilmiah FKIP Unila kembali menggelar workshop berbasis digital. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Hotel Inna Eight Bandar Lampung, Jum’at (12/05).

Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dibuka langsung oleh wakil dekan bidang keuangan, umum dan kepegawaian, Drs. Buchori Asyik, M.Si. didampingi ketua Unit Database dan Publikasi Ilmiah, Diah Utamingsih, S.Psi., M.A., Psi. Dalam sambutannya, Buchori menyampaikan bahwa FKIP kini tengah membangun sumber daya manusia yang handal akan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dalam pelayanannya.

Menurutnya, sistem informasi manajemen pada suatu pelayanan kampus dapat di-display dalam bentuk aplikasi berbasis online. Sistem yang terintegrasi secara online kelak dapat mempermudah pengolahan data yang lebih cepat, akurat, dan efisien.

“Pengambilan kebijakan dapat dengan tepat ditentukan apabila berpatokan pada data dilapangan yang valid. Data yang valid dapat dengan cepat dan mudah diperoleh apabila sistem selalu meng-update data secara digital. Oleh karena itu, betapa pentingnya sistem mapping dan update bagi penentuan keputusan kedepan”, papar Buchori saat diwawancarai.

Selanjutnya, senada dengan pernyataan Wakil Dekan II, Diah Utaminingsih menambahkan bahwa workshop mapping dan update data digital ini adalah agenda yang sejalan dengan tema workshop sebelumnya. Tenaga kependidikan diminta untuk mampu menguasai prinsip digitalisasi pelayanan. Output dari kegiatan ini adalah para peserta mampu menerapkan sistem updating dan mapping data program studi maupun jurusan.

Adapun pemateri pada kegiatan ini berasal dari Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS), yakni Agus Tri Haryanto, M.Cs., dan Fahd Al Aliem Romas, M.Pd. Sesi penyampaian materi dimoderatori oleh Amarulloh, S.T., M.Kom. (Unila).

Workshop mapping dan update data digital ini tidak terlepas dari pemenuhan kemampuan softskill tenaga kependidikan Unila yang saat ini menyandang predikat akreditasi A. Sehingganya melalui workshop ini, pelayanan akademik dapat diolah dan dimanajemen secara tepat dan cepat. Jika Anak Sekolah Terlalu Dini

1. Keyakinan umum…
* Otak anak usia dini seperti spons, artinya ini masa yg tepat untuk ditanamkan ilmu, agar anak tumbuh cerdas
* Semakin dini disekolahkan, otak anak semakin berkembang.

2. Sehingga…
Ada ortu yg menyekolahkan sedini mungkin, bahkan ada yg masuk prasekolah diusia 1,5-2 tahun.

3. Mari kita bercermin…
* Apakah kita begitu meyakini bahwa anak harus segera pintar agar siap menghadapi persaingan zaman?
* Apakah kita disiapkan mjd orang tua?
* Apakah memiliki bekal yang cukup dlm mengasuh?
* Bagaimana innerchild diri kita?

4. Betapa kita disiapkan untuk menjadi ahli namun tdk disiapkan jadi orangtua, shg tidak punya kesabaran & endurance utk jadi ortu.

5. Ilmu yg kita miliki untuk mengasuh pun serba tanggung.
Ilmu yg setengah-tengah, berujung pada false belief (keyakinan yg salah).
Sayangnya false belief ini dpt berubah menjadi societal false belief (keyakinan yg salah pd sekelompok orang).
Jika ortu tdk memiliki kemampuan berpikirHat thinking skill) yg baik, false belief akibat ilmu yg serba tanggung itu jd pembenaran bersama atas keputusan kita yg keliru.

6. Pintar ada waktunya!
Karena yg berkembang adalah pusat perasaan, anak usia dini hrs jadi anak yg bahagia, bukan jd anak yg pintar!

7. Kita berpikir…
“Kan di sekolah belajarnya sambil bermain”
“Kan anak perlu belajar sosialisasi”
“Kan anak jd belajar berbagi & bermain bersama”
Padahal…
* Anak usia dini belum perlu belajar sosialisasi dg beragam orang
* Saat anak diusia dini, otak anak yg paling pesat berkembang adl pusat perasaannya, bukan pusat berpikirnya.

8. Di sekolah, kegiatan anak hanya bermain kok!
Taukah ayah bunda, permainan terbaik adalah tubuh ayah ibunya! Bermain dg ayah ibu jga menciptakan kelekatan. Misal: bermain peran, bermain pura-pura, muka jelek, petak umpet.

9. Di sekolah, mainan lebih lengkap.
Permainan paling kreatif adalah bermain tanpa mainan. Jangan batasi kreatifitas anak dg permainan yg siap pakai.
Contoh: karpet jadi mobil, panci jadi topi.

10. Di sekolah, anak belajar bersosialisasi & berbagi.
Anak <5 th blm saatnya belajar sosialisasi. Ia blm bisa bermain bersama. Mereka baru bisa bermain bersama-sama.
Bermain bersama-sama= bermain diwaktu & tempat yg sama namun tdk berbagi mainan yg sama (menggunakan mainan masing2)
Bermain bersama= bermain permainan yg membutuhkan berbagi mainan yg sama.

11. Di sekolah, anak belajar patuh pada aturan & mengikuti instruksi.
Aturan & instruksi perlu diterapkan setahap demi setahap. Jika di rumah ada aturan, di sekolah ada aturan, berapa banyak aturan yg harus anak ikuti? Apa yg dirasakan anak?
Analogi: Seorang anak <5 thn yg sangat berbakat dlm memasak, dimasukkan ke sekolah memasak. Di sekolah itu, dia diajari berbagai aturan memasak yg banyak, dilatih oleh beberapa instruktur sekaligus. Yg dirasakan anak: pusing!

12. Memasukkan sekolah anak terlalu dini, sama seperti menyemai benih kanker.
Kita tidak tahu kapan kanker akan muncul & dlm jenis apa.
Otaknya belum siap. Kita tidak pernah tahu kapan ia kehilangan motivasi belajar.
Semakin muda kita sekolahkan anak, semakin cepat pula ia mengalami BLAST (Bored Lonely Afraid-Angry Stress Tired).
